YUICHI TOYAMA:5 is YUICHI TOYAMA's prestige line.

To achieve the ultimate in comfort, original designs are used for all parts that make up the frame, resulting in eyewear that has been crafted with the utmost attention to detail.

Like the metal frame released in spring 2021, the hinge screws are hexagonal screws.

The lens is carved from a 10mm acetate plate and polished by hand to create a uniquely rounded front, with a television cut around the lens to create a three-dimensional effect.

In addition, a metal rim is applied around the lens, giving it a more striking presence.

The thick front and temples are more rigid than necessary, so the parts that touch the face have been made thinner, and the parts that rest on the ears have been made thinner with rounded corners to create a design that is easy to fit.

We believe that the joy of design lies in finding the optimum relationship between the face line and the glasses, and we pursue designs that are conscious of "being seen."
We believe that connecting the horizontal line of the eye and the extension from the ear to the eye will enhance the facial features and create a sense of unity. In order to once again visualize this balance in the glasses, we have created a striped pattern from the front end piece to the tip of the temple core.

This "BEACON" is based on a polygonal shape, but has a cohesive design. The front, made of black and clear gray, has a television cut that gives it a sense of depth. The white gold colored metal parts are also a highlight.
