The designer is Takuya Kitamura.
He has been working as an eyeglass craftsman since 2011, and after gaining several years of experience in Sabae, he worked at the long-established French eyeglass workshop Dorillat from 2015 to 2019.
After that He trained as an apprentice under a master craftsman of traditional Kyoto crafts, and at the same time studied metalwork and lacquer work.
I create original eyeglasses by combining my skills as an eyeglass craftsman with traditional craft techniques and the essence of polymer chemistry that I learned at university.
He makes not only the glasses themselves, but also accessories such as cases and eyeglass cleaning cloths, all by hand.
