PETER AND MAY "ALMA" Available in two finishes.
Posted by 吉見宗真
Big shape with a lens size of 55mm.
However, the frame lines are thin, and ALMA has a simple design that is different from more impactful designs.
This "big but light" model has been selling well recently.
It seems like Europe is really good at this kind of design, and it always seems to be a popular classic overseas, so they're used to making it.
At PETER AND MAY, we offer several styles of this type with varying size balances, but among them, ALMA is a large polygonal shape both horizontally and vertically, so when used as glasses, we think it is a model that easily embodies the image of "wearing them on purpose."
On the other hand, when it comes to sunglasses or colored lenses, the size can be used to great effect, so one way to enjoy ALMA is to change the impression by changing the finishing method.
So, this time we will introduce two types of sunglasses that take advantage of their size.
First, the gradient.
When it comes to fitting colored lenses in glasses with this width, the first thing that comes to mind is a gradient.
As you can see, the color changes from dark to light, so if the length at the top and bottom is not right, the color will not come out as you imagined.
I usually give up on it for that reason, so when I find something that looks good on me, it's the first thing that comes to mind.
The frame is black, and I wanted to take advantage of the elegance of PETER AND MAY, so the lens color is a brown gradient.
I wanted to make a complete change, so I chose the color with the most variation in shade that I could find.
It would be nice if there was a range from about 60-70% to about 10%.
What's more, it's large enough to show all of the changes, so the result is just as stunning as I imagined.
It's stylish and somehow elegant.
i feel good.
Then the other one.
This is a solid grey.
However, it's not a regular gray, but a gray with a reddish tint.
This color is so versatile.
The colored lenses give the overall look a more cohesive feel, but since ALMA is large, I wanted a more compact effect, so I used gray.
But plain grey isn't interesting.
It's not that it doesn't suit me, but I'd like to add a bit of twist to it, and if possible, add a bit of style.
That's where this color comes in handy.
It tightens the look while also contrasting with the frame color, giving it a nice, sharp and stylish look.
And because it's gray-based, it's not too eccentric and is easy to incorporate into your everyday styling.
This color goes well not only with ALMA, but also with other black frames.
For example, Lesca's Pica col.Black.
When the soft form is tightened, a different kind of beauty is born.
This balance of strength and weakness is very important.
Just like lazare studio incorporates sexy and soft colors into a masculine look, designs that have a good balance of addition and subtraction look good.
So, the key to showing off your sense is how you combine them.
Two patterns with the same model and frame color.
There was a clear difference, and each has its own merits, so please give them a try.
