The first blog of the new year.

I hope to post as many times as possible this year.

However, I think it depends on your mood and if you get bored or find it troublesome, you might suddenly stop, so I would be happy if you could take a look again when you have some free time.

Well, this time it's this.

Every time, I'm entertained by colors and patterns I've never seen before.
Lesca's Upcycling collection.

First of all, what is upcycling?

Upcycling, also known as creative reuse, is the process of upgrading and reusing by-products, waste materials, and useless or unwanted products into new materials or products of better quality and environmental value.
(From Wikipedia)

There's also the SDG movement, and in terms of recycling, this project is also eco-friendly.

It is a long-established brand founded in 1964, so they use stock fabrics that were made back then, but it would be ideal for us if they would use vintage fabrics.
What's more, they are assembled from scratch in the current factory, so they look beautiful.

No matter how vintage it may be, it's still an item worn on the face.
Some people don't like things that are dirty, so I think this project really takes advantage of the best of both worlds.

There were many distinctive fabrics this season, but col. 37 in particular was eye-catching with its unique use of color and pattern.

The base is beige with a dark green hue reminiscent of moss green.
I don't see this very often, and I think this is the first time I've seen something like this.

The fabric has block patterns and parts that spread out like a blur, giving it a sense of movement even though it is still.
You can't help but stare at things like this.

When it comes to your first pair of Lesca, you may be concerned about whether it suits you or not, but after that, many people decide based on whether they like the color and pattern.
With this collection, it's especially interesting to focus on that aspect.

Great for hanging or displaying.

Please try it.
