ARNEL was revived in 1979 as part of the James Dean Eyewear Collection.

ARNEL was chosen as the name of the collection because actor James Dean was a fan of the brand in the 1950s, but it was discontinued in a short period of time due to copyright issues.

The long-awaited return of a legendary model.

The rights were acquired from the James Dean Estate and are being given a proper revival.

All frames are made from Takilon's cotton-based acetate and perfectly reproduce the colors of the time.

All metal parts used in the James Dean Eyewear Collection are made from high-quality gold-plated titanium imported from Japan. The front studs feature the same double diamond design as the frames worn by James Dean, reminiscent of a 1950s American vintage design.

- The dedicated clip-on is also made of gold-plated titanium, and the lenses are available in two colors: blue and green.
