HAPTER eyewear is an Italian brand that started in 2013.

The brand name comes from "haptic"
The word is of ancient Greek origin and apparently means "tactile."
Since then, haptic and optic senses have been considered to be strongly linked and complementary to each other.
HAPTER offers an experience that includes tactile perception in eyewear design.

The frame base is made of medical grade stainless steel sheet metal.
The designs, made using organic cotton textiles and industrial rubber sheets, are truly one-of-a-kind.

By combining this material with the brand's proprietary hinge structure, "8 GON hinge," we have succeeded in creating a mechanism that is durable, comfortable to use, and easy to maintain.
 
The base is made of sheet metal so it's really comfortable to wear.
The presence is created by layering different materials.
